2011 Sparkling Wine
This sparkling wine is 100% French Columbard, with 2% residual sugar. Light on acid, this wine is smooth and pairs with many foods. Only 33 cases produced.

2010 White Dwarf
Keeping in our 'stellar' theme, our white blend, or "White Dwarf – Collapsing Nova" is a blend of 75% Sauvignon Blanc, 24% Viognier, and 1% Muscat Canelli. The hint of Muscat provides color and floral fragrance, serve chilled; this is a great summer-time wine.

2008 Marsanne
The 2008 Marsanne is a bright, clean, crisp white wine which shows lots of fruit components. It is complex as it has 17% Viognier blended into the wine. This wine pairs well spicy foods, such as Thai, Indian, or Chinese foods or grilled seafood on the barbeque. 146 cases produced.

2009 Sangiovese
From the Smokey Ridge Vineyard, the 2009 Sangiovese nose has a more raisin like fruitiness with a toasty overtone. There is plenty of Sangiovese fruit in the taste followed by a long smooth finish. After eighteen months in French oak and six months in the bottle, it has excellent balance, structure, and tannin with alcohol at 14%. Only 100 cases produced.

Awards
  Gold Medal, California State Fair
Silver Medal, El Dorado County Fair

2008 Merlot
From Quartz Hill Vineyard, the 2008 Merlot is more of a "New World" style. What we mean by that, is it is fruiter, heartier and has bigger flavors than most "Old World" Merlots. We aged this wine for 12 months on French oak and bottle aged it over a year. This Merlot is not a "typical" Merlot, we are very pleased with its complexity and know it will win some big awards this year.

Awards
Gold Medal, El Dorado County Fair

2009 Red Giant
This is a blend of 3 grape varietals. 50% Zinfandel, 25% Merlot and 25% Syrah. Aged 14 months in French oak barrels, 50% new. This wine exhibits fruit tones of black cherry, plum and spice with a hint of vanilla on the finish.

2007 Zinfandel
The 2007 Zinfandel exhibits spice on the nose, fruit tones of blackberry and bright cherry and plum, with a dash of cinnamon and white pepper. Aged 18 months on French Oak. This is truly a classic Sierra Foothill Zinfandel…only 279 cases produced. This will be our next big award winner in the wine competitions.

2008 Zinfandel
From Sumu Kaw Vineyard, this wine is big, big fruit! It's our traditional foothill Zinfandel with big bold flavors up front. We bring to you another powerhouse from the same vineyard where we have purchased our grapes since 2002.

Awards
Gold Medal, El Dorado County Fair

2009 Super Tuscan
This is a blend of 3 grape varietals, 75 % Sangiovese, 24% Merlot and 1% Syrah, medium in color with modest tannins and aged in new oak and one year old French oak barrels. The wine is soft, with a wonderful mouth feel, hints of Rainier cherries and plums are present. This is a good food wine and should be enjoyed with Italian cuisine.

2007 Shiraz
The 2007 Shiraz has big, bright fruit. Bing cherry and plum dominates this wine. The color is deep and rich, reminiscent to an Australian Shiraz, hence the name. Aged 18 months on a combination of French and American heavy toasted oak barrels. Only 122 cases produced. Pairs well with red meat, salmon and pastas.

2009 Barbera
From the Cardanini Vineyard, the 2009 Barbera is common to the Piedmont region of Italy. This wine possesses a deep red color and comes on strong with a huge, fruity nose filled with Barbera character. Balanced with good structure and tannin, with a long finish, this wine should age well, but why wait? 195 cases produced.

Awards
  Gold Medal, California State Fair
Silver Medal, El Dorado County Fair

2009 Late Harvest Zinfandel

This wine is great with a savory dish or great after dinner as an aperitif. Oh heck, enjoy it before, during and after dinner, it's just that good.
