2008 Syrah Port (California Red Dessert Wine) - 500 ml
This is a subtle port wine made from Syrah grapes. Aged 18 months on French oak. While subtle, it is hearty. The alcohol is subdued at 16.5% and the wine exhibits fruit and spice components with vanilla on the finish. This lighter style port can be enjoyed anytime of the year.

2008 Z (Z squared)
The 2008 Zinfandel (Z squared), was aged 13 months on French oak. A light style Zinfandel, which exhibits bright cherry tone, hints of raspberry and toasted oak flavors, with a pop of pepper on the finish. There were only 153 cases of this wine produced. We have paired this wine with pan sautéed chicken with a mushroom and pecan sauce. A twist from the traditional Chicken Marsala.

2008 Cabernet Franc
The 2008 Cabernet Franc is barrel aged 13 months on French oak and bottle aged 7 months. This wine has cherry flavors, briar fruit, violets, black currants, with a light herbaceous finish and soft tannins. There were only 101 cases produced. This wine is paired with a ”nibbly night” recipe. Years ago, we struggled with what to make for dinner, as this is a task that can easily become boring and repetitious. So we tossed together a crusty loaf of bread, some of our favorite cheeses, nuts, fruit, and some dried meats (salami or proscuitto) and nibbly night was born.
